Service description
Volatility Street LLC provides quantitative research, strategy analysis, and production system development on a fixed-fee engagement basis. Deliverables include signed reports, feature analysis, and (for production engagements) deployed systems.
Not investment advice
All deliverables are quantitative analysis. Nothing in any report, deliverable, or communication constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or financial instrument. See the Disclosures page for full details.
Engagement terms
Fixed fee, defined scope, and clear timeline established in a written proposal before work begins. Payment: 50% on start, 50% on delivery. Monitoring engagements billed monthly with no long-term commitment.
Confidentiality
All engagements are subject to a mutual NDA executed before work begins. Neither party discloses the other's data, methodology, or findings without written consent.
Intellectual property
Client owns all deliverables produced for their engagement. Vol St. retains ownership of proprietary methods, algorithms, and tooling used to produce the deliverables.
Client responsibilities
Client is responsible for providing accurate data, maintaining their own data licenses, and all trading and investment decisions made using the research.
Limitation of liability
Vol St.'s total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement. Vol St. is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of deliverables.
Indemnification
Client indemnifies Vol St. against claims arising from the client's trading decisions, use of deliverables, or violation of third-party agreements.
Disclaimer of warranties
Deliverables are provided 'as is.' No warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that any strategy will be profitable.
Termination
Either party can terminate with written notice. Client pays for work completed to date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [State].
