Disclosures

Last updated: March 2026

01

Not investment advice

Volatility Street LLC provides quantitative research and analysis. Nothing in any report, deliverable, or communication constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, derivative, or financial instrument. The client is solely responsible for all trading and investment decisions.

02

Not a registered advisor

Volatility Street LLC is not a registered investment advisor (RIA), broker-dealer, or commodity trading advisor (CTA) under any federal or state regulatory body.

03

Backtesting limitations

All backtested or simulated results are hypothetical and subject to inherent limitations. Past performance - whether real or simulated - does not guarantee future results. Backtested results do not reflect actual trading, cannot fully account for liquidity, slippage, or market impact, and may benefit from hindsight bias despite best efforts to mitigate it.

04

Risk acknowledgment

Trading and investing involve substantial risk of loss. Strategies that survive out-of-sample testing may still lose money in live markets. The client assumes all risk associated with deploying any strategy derived from Vol St.'s analysis.

05

Computational accuracy, not outcome guarantee

Vol St. guarantees that every calculation in a deliverable is reproducible and every assumption is documented. Vol St. does not guarantee that any strategy will be profitable.

06

Client responsibility

The client is responsible for evaluating the suitability of any analysis for their specific financial situation, risk tolerance, and investment objectives. Clients should consult with their own legal, tax, and financial advisors before making investment decisions.

07

Confidentiality

Engagement details, data, and deliverables are confidential between Vol St. and the client unless otherwise agreed in writing.

These disclosures supplement the Terms of Service. If you have questions, contact tyler@volatilitystreet.com.
